Through this degree, I gained invaluable insights into financial principles and how they drive business operations. My background in accountancy continuously proves to be an asset in my marketing career. It allows me to analyse data effectively, assess ROI, and develop strategies grounded in financial realities. My Background

I’ve always been fascinated by the inner workings of businesses. Growing up, I was surrounded by the stories of how different ventures thrived and struggled. However, it was in my third year that I realised my true passion lay elsewhere. As I sat through lectures, trying to keep my eyelids from staging a rebellion, I found myself drawn to marketing concepts and strategies that went beyond the numbers. This realisation pushed me to take additional marketing classes, igniting a fire in me for creativity and consumer psychology. I understood that while numbers are crucial, it’s the stories behind them that truly engage people.

With this newfound passion, I transitioned from the world of accountancy into digital marketing, eager to blend analytical thinking with creative strategy. My journey has been fueled by a desire to help brands connect meaningfully with their audiences, and I’m proud to be part of a field that constantly evolves and challenges me.

Professional Background

After graduating, I dove straight into the fast-paced world of digital marketing, working for a leading UK agency where I had the opportunity to collaborate with major brands like Oculus, Footlocker, Diageo, Superdrug, and AJ Bell. The dynamic environment allowed me to refine my skills across multiple channels while managing large teams and leading both internal and external training sessions.

But, as much as I enjoyed agency life, I felt the pull to carve out my own path. So, I decided to take the leap and go solo, fueled by my passion for helping brands tell their stories in a way that resonates. I am building a diverse client base that spans a variety of industries, allowing me to gain insights from different perspectives and business sizes.

One of the key lessons I’ve learned along the way is that there’s always something to be gained from every client, whether they’re a local startup or a multinational corporation. I’ve found that the fundamental principles of business apply across the board. By maintaining a broad focus, I can leverage insights from smaller operations to inform strategies for larger clients, and vice versa.
